Invitational Group Show
June 2-30, 2022

After-school Art Classes

for kids in 1st-8th grades.

This 6 week session will meet on Thursdays from 4:15-5:30pm at Girls Who Paint.

DATES: September 22, October 6, 13, 20, 27 & Nov 3 (parents need not be present during each class).

We will explore color theory, values, texture, mixed media, 3-D, and much more while discussing famous artists and their work.

Your child will grow in confidence and ability while having fun in our gorgeous studio.

These classes will be taught by Sarah Renzi Sanders and Angie Meche Kilcullen (founders of Girls Who Paint) and professional artists with over 20 years combined experience teaching children.

HERstory is a term for history emphasizing

the role of women and written from

a feminist perspective,

or told from a woman's point of view.

What's YOUR story? What's HERstory?

We want to know.

As artists, we often tell our "stories" through our work.

For this exhibition, we will be featuring the selected art works

and the accompanying written "story" with each piece.

Although art speaks to everyone differently (and is open to interpretation by the viewer), we desire to more fully engage

our exhibition visitors with the uniquely compelling

"stories" that drive these artist's to create their

own personal narratives through their  art.
