This call centers around the theme of love.

 

Ahhh....LOVE. It's a complicated topic. Love hurts. Love scars. Love wounds. Love marks. Love heals. Love completes. 

 

There are many ways a heart can LOVE--agape love, romantic love, familial love, passionate love. As a result, the open heart can be fragile and vulnerable to HURT due to unrequited love, separation, death, heartbreak, sacrifice and much more. Fortunately, the heart is also able to HEAL, to mend itself and to even love again. We look forward to viewing your interpretations related to this complicated topic. 

 

*This exhibition invites US-based artists of all backgrounds to submit work that you feel best expresses the theme. Artwork will be judged based on originality, quality of work, interpretation of theme, creativity, and overall artistic ability.

$30 fee to submit up to 3 images

watercolor, photography, ceramic, drawing, sculpture, 3D
